Tomato Mess
Well, we’ve been using the tomatoes, but I haven’t included any pictures of the big mess of them in a while. The trellising system we’re using is working really well except for the ones that got to be 7′ tall … Continue reading

Food? Update
I am even more inundated than I was last week. And next week we’re going away, so the blog will be taking a week hiatus while I get in a last hurrah before the Renaissance Festival starts and I’m 100% … Continue reading

Campaign Finances
I’m going to go off on a total nerd tangent for a minute (as if this whole series hasn’t been one long indulgence in my nerd tendencies). One thing in particular has always bothered me about Star Wars (even more … Continue reading

Mind Control, Part 2
Yesterday I introduced the idea of “dolls”- that most people, right now, are dolls, programmed to believe certain things. Programmed to react in certain ways to certain stimuli. Even if we haven’t gotten to the full on brain wipe-personality implant-sleeper … Continue reading

Mind Control, Part 1
I recently slammed through the entire Dollhouse series. All two seasons of it, with my usual gusto. And once again, Joss Wheedon delivers. The premise, if you’re not familiar, is that a company, Rossum, figures out how to wipe someone’s … Continue reading
